Students attending classes in the building that may collapse anytime
The Government Higher Primary RS Chettalli School in Madikeri taluk is in a pathetic condition with broken tiles and leaking roof, tilted transformers, snapped electric lines, and ill-maintained playground and surroundings.
Around 37 poor students from rural areas were studying in this school. Fearing that the building may collapse anytime, many parents have shifted their children to another government school, 5 km away from their village.
