Plea seeking Right to Public Services Act binned

The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court recently denied relief to a man seeking the implementation of the Right to Public Services Act in Tamil Nadu to ensure time-bound delivery of public services.
K Gurunathan, who filed the petition in 2020, said the implementation of the Act would punish errant public servants, bring down corruption, and enhance transparency and public accountability.
