The appointment of advocate Arati Arun Sathe as a judge of the Bombay High Court has attracted controversy after it was revealed that she is the official spokesperson of the Maharashtra BJP.
The Supreme Court of India, in its meeting held on July 28, 2025, had approved the proposal of appointing as HC judges advocates Ajit Bhagwantrao Kadehankar, Arati Arun Sathe and Sushil Manohar Ghodeswar.
