'Not Bangladeshis': Didi hits out at detention of Bengal migrants in Raj

WEST Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday expressed her strong discontent over the alleged detention of around 300 Bengali-speaking migrant workers in Rajasthan on the suspicion of being Bangladeshis.
Banerjee said she would speak to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on this issue.
Banerjee told reporters in her Assembly chamber that she has information that over 300 Bengali-speaking migrant labourers from Itahar in North Dinajpur district were confined in a building in Rajasthan despite showing valid documents.
