GOVERNOR Rajendra Arlekar inaugurated the 113th Hindumatha Parishad, organised by the Ayroor Cherukolpuzha Hindumatha Maha Mandalam (HMM), on the sandbeds of the Pampa at Cherukolpuzha near Kozhencherry on Sunday.
Marking the event's opening, processions from various temples in the state were accorded reception at the event venue in the morning. Leader of Opposition V D Satheesan, Water Resources Minister Roshy Augustine and MP Anto Antony attended the function which was presided over by Hindu Matha Parishad president P S Nair.
