First group of pilgrims treks through Mukkuzhi forest to reach Sannidhanam

THE first group of Sabarimala pilgrims, who were granted special permission by the forest department to trek to the hill shrine through the forest route via Mukkuzhi, reached Sannidhanam on Wednesday.
The six-member group trekked approximately 35 kilometres through the forest route, starting from Mukkuzhi at 7 am and reaching Nadapanthal by 3 pm.
