Ex-aide of former Cong minister held on charges of spying

IN a case that's sent shockwaves across Rajasthan, the police has arrested Shakoor Khan, an Assistant Administrative Officer in the Jaisalmer District Employment Office on charges of espionage.
Shakoor, a former personal assistant to ex-Congress minister Saleh Mohammad, was arrested under the Official Secrets Act, 1923, following weeks of intelligence tracking.
According to senior officials, Shakoor Khan was found to be in contact with former officials of the Pakistan High Commission, including Ehsan-ur-Raheem alias Danish.
