THE Constitution has ensured that whenever the country faced a crisis, it remained united, Chief Justice of India (CJI) BR Gavai said on Saturday.
He contrasted India's progress with the crises roiling its neighbours, expressing, "Today, we look at the condition in our neighbouring countries. Meanwhile, India has been on a journey towards development since Independence. Whenever there has been a crisis in the country, it has remained united and strong. The credit for this should be given to the Constitution."
