ON a tour of the border district of Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday, Home Minister Amit Shah announced a special package for border residents affected by cross-border heavy artillery fire and the construction of more underground bunkers for their safety.
He also issued a stern warning to Pakistan saying the Indian Armed Forces will adequately respond to any attack on civilians living in border regions.
