Women Stage Protest in Kalaburagi Against New Waqf Amendment Act

A public protest meeting of women and the girl students, 'Wakf Bachao Samvidhan Bachao', organised by the All India Muslim Personal Law Board in collaboration with Dr Syed Ali Al Hussaini, Sajjada Nasheen of Khaja Banda Nawaz Dargah, member of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board and President of the Karnataka State Waqf Board against the new Waqf Amendment Act, was held at the Mughal Garden Function Hall in the city.
Addressing a protest meeting, Dr Khudosa Sultana, professor at Osmania University in Hyderabad, said that by implementing the Waqf Amendment Act, the Centre is planning to seize and sell valuable properties worth crores of rupees. She mentioned it as a dark law and is unacceptable. Dr Khudosa Sultana expressed her anger on the Central Government that they want to implement the Waqf Amendment Bill 2025 to destroy
