Nestled amidst an amphitheatre of rugged cliffs and storied ridgelines—Tololing, Tiger Hill, Point 4875—the memorial anchors its identity not in grandeur, but in gravitas.

The Memorial's Defining Features At the core of this sacred precinct lies the Wall of Names, an expansive black marble colonnade etched with the names of the 527 fallen soldiers who made the ultimate offering during Operation Vijay in 1999.
