Supreme Court defers hearing on Vi’s AGR plea

THE Supreme Court on Monday once again deferred hearing on a plea filed by telecom service provider Vodafone Idea, which seeks to quash the Department of Telecommunications’ (DoT) additional demand related to adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues for the financial year 2016-17.
The matter was earlier listed on September 26 but was postponed to October 6. In its fresh plea, VIL has challenged an additional demand
