SHARNBASVA VARSITY STUDENTS QUALIFY FOR STATE LEVEL SCIENCE MELA

ACCORDING to the press note issued by Sharnbasva University here on Friday, the students of the university bagged the first and the second prize at the District Level Science Mela, which was part of the Yuvajanotsava 2024-25 that was held at the District Science Centre in Kalaburagi on Thursday, and qualified for the state level that will be held later.

Guided by Prof Lakshmi Patil, the 7th Semester students, Akhila T Goled and Anjali of the Electronic and Communication Engineering discipline bagged the first prize for their innovative project 'Progressive Braille Learning Kit With Interface', which carried a plaque, certificates and a cash prize of Rs 7,000. The project designed by the students was a low cost Braille electronic device which makes it easy to learn the Braille script in different languages of their choice.
