Senior members demand dissolution of illegal Jai Kisan Market Committee

IN a major development, a group of senior members and commission agents from Jai Kisan Wholesale Vegetable Market, Belagavi, submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies, urging the immediate dissolution of what they describe as an illegal and self-declared working committee currently controlling the market.

The memorandum, signed by Fakira Gudaji, Krishna Desai, Irshad Nesargi, Mosin Khanapure, and Fahim Pachapuri, alleges that the committee lacks legal standing, has acted against the interests of genuine members, and has violated multiple cooperative and municipal regulations. The complainants have also called for the immediate sealing of the market office, citing that the matter is sub judice and that the current committee does not represent the true mandate of the market's stakeholders.
