Panchamsali factions call truce following intervention by leaders

THE two warring groups of the powerful Panchamsali community of the state have called for a truce after they were advised by veteran leaders of the community.

Both groups which had called for a public meeting to discuss their plan against each other, have been postponed indefinitely.

While the seer supporting group had called for a meeting on April 20, his Opposition group had called for the meeting on April 19. It may be noted that the open allegations and counter allegations were getting reported between a group led by Basavajaya Mrutunjaya Swamy of Panchamasali Gurupeetha and Panchamasali Samaj Trust which has several leaders including MLA, Vijayananda Kashappanavar.
