Dr Ajay Singh says roads in 38 constituencies will be developed at a cost of Rs 1,150 crore
KALYANA Karnataka Region Development Board (KKRDB) has already released a grant of Rs 298.50 crore for the 'Kalyana Patha' project, under which construction of roads in rural areas in 38 assembly constituencies in the region will be taken up at an estimated cost of Rs 1,150 crore, said KKRDB president Dr Ajay Singh.
Speaking to the media at Jewargi on Tuesday, Dr Singh said that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar and AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge will launch this historic project on March 8 at Dr Dharam Singh Memorial Mother and Children Hospital's ground. This project would be funded by the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department.
