THE maiden Budget session of J&K Assembly commenced in Jammu after a seven-year gap on Monday.
Lt Governor Manoj Sinha addressed the Assembly and pitched for the restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir, terming it "foremost aspirations of people of J&K", but skipped any reference to Article 370.
