Hold special Aadhaar enrolment drive for schoolchildren, says DC

She adds every child must have an Aadhaar card and asks dept to verify its coverage in schools

A SPECIAL campaign must be launched to ensure Aadhaar registration for all schoolchildren in Kalaburagi district and authorities should promptly resolve public grievances related to Aadhaar registration, correction and services, Deputy Commissioner B Fauzia Tarannum said on Wednesday.

Presiding over a meeting of the District Aadhaar Scheme Progress and Monitoring Committee, the DC stressed that every child must have an Aadhaar card.

She directed the School Education Department to verify Aadhaar coverage in schools and coordinate with relevant authorities to achieve 100% enrollment at the earliest.
