GU Staff to Protest Over Non-Fulfilment of Demands

ACTIVISTS of the Post-Graduate Teachers Association and the Association of Non-Teaching Staff of Gulbarga University have given a notice to the registrar of the university, informing him about their decision to hold a dharna in front of the administrative building on June 24.

President of the Post-Graduate Teachers Association Prof. H. T. Pote and secretary Prof. Anand Naik and secretary of the Non-Teaching Staff Association Anand S Karagar have written separate letters to the registrar of the Gulbarga University intimating about the dharna. Both the associations have said in their letters that though they have submitted memorandums several times with regard to their demands, there is no response from the university.
