Ballari DC Calls For Increased Monitoring Of Pregnant Women

BALLARI Deputy Commissioner Prashanth Kumar Mishra said that there is a need for continuous monitoring of pregnant women in the district to prevent maternal and infant deaths.
He instructed medical officials to take proactive steps in ensuring the health and safety of both mothers and babies.
Speaking at a health officials' meeting on Thursday, DC Mishra said that healthcare workers should educate pregnant women about iron deficiency, nutritional food intake and the importance of iron supplements during their visits and preventing anaemia could lead to a safer and more natural delivery process in the district.
