THE Punjab police are checking the activities and antecedents of around 50 people reportedly involved with eight suspects who have been recently arrested on charges of spying for Pakistan. This comes days after a YouTuber from Hisar, Jyoti Malhotra (33), was arrested on the charge of espionage.
Sources said the police have arrested the eight people (seven men and a woman) in the last three weeks for alleged spying from Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Malerkotla and Bathinda.
