Tenants Forced to Relocate as Water Gushes into Houses

Water has entered many houses three times over the past three months

Residents of low-lying areas in Dharwad are paying a very heavy price for no fault of theirs. Whenever it rains heavily, their houses get inundated with rainwater, which is mixed with drain water, and all their foodgrains and other items are damaged. They have to spend sleepless nights clearing the water from their houses.

Over the past three months, water has gushed into many houses three times. Despite receiving many complaints, the Hubballi Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) authorities seem to be in deep slumber.
