Simplify e-Swathu procedure for industries: KCCI
The New Indian Express Hubballi
|April 04, 2025
A delegation of the Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) met Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar and urged him to simplify the procedure of issuing e-Swathu to industries and take action to resolve issues that are hindering the development of Hubballi-Dharwad.
It has also insisted on taking initiatives for industrial progress in the region.
In a memorandum submitted to Shivakumar, the delegation stated that industrialists have been facing delays in obtaining e-Swathu documents, which is making it difficult for them to secure loans, besides affecting their production. This has a negative impact on industrial growth. Due to a lack of new business registrations, there is a decrease in revenue. Therefore, KIADB should be given the authority to issue e-Swathu documents to industries.
