Congmen dismiss allegations, say BJP rattled with rally's success

WHILE the Congress party claims to have successfully held a protest rally in Hubballi condemning the Narendra Modi government's anti-poor and anti-people policies, there are allegations that the party brought people, especially women, to the rally by paying them money. Though this practice is not new, it assumes significance in the wake of the 'successful' implementation of guarantees.

A video has surfaced on social media, showing a woman in a group holding some currencies speaking to a person. Posting this video on its X account, the BJP state unit has taunted the Congress that, "No matter how much the world changes, paying people to attend gatherings and protests seems to be a habit exclusive to the corrupt and the shameless Congress party".
