Experts say deforestation driving away crows from urban areas
CROWS in rural areas are building their nests with thin metal wires. Biodiversity experts are worried over this development as rural parts in Gadag too are facing deforestation. Crows have almost disappeared from many urban parts of Gadag. Experts are concerned as these birds are natural scavengers and many families believe their 'pitru paksha' rituals will not be completed without crows.
