PI remotely issues alert through camera connected to police station via Wi-Fi
A CCTV footage of a couple with a baby taking pictures dangerously on the newly constructed Gangavali bridge that connects Gokarna and Ankola and a police announcement asking the couple to leave the bridge immediately has gone viral. This is the first time in the state that an intelligent camera has been used to warn tourists about a possible threat.
The Uttara Kannada police alerted the couple about the risk of losing their child by asking them to leave the place, stating that the river is flowing fast and it is not a safe place.
