State plans to conduct medical tourism conference

THE State Tourism Department, in collaboration with the health department, is planning to conduct a conference to promote medical tourism in Coimbatore by January 2025.
Officials involved in the project said the initiative will enhance medical tourism, as Coimbatore is already a hub for medical services in South India.
District-level officials have submitted a plan for the conference, indicating that preparations will begin once the government makes an official announcement.
