AIADMK Must Give DMDK RS Seat as Promised in 2024, Says Premalatha

DMDK general secretary Premalatha Vijayakanth on Thursday reiterated that the AIADMK had promised to give her party a Rajya Sabha seat while finalising the alliance in 2024 and said the principal opposition must keep its word now.
Speaking to reporters in Pudukkottai, Premalatha said "It was agreed during alliance talks for 2024 Lok Sabha elections that DMDK will be given a Rajya Sabha seat and five Lok Sabha seats (in the AIADMK alliance). It is their (AIADMK) duty to keep up the word."
