FINANCE minister Nirmala Sitharaman has allocated a substantial budget for various key schemes in the Union Budget 2025 across different sectors.

The PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, which aims to promote rooftop solar installations and renewable energy, has been allocated ₹20,000 crore.

This is a significant increase from the previous budget's estimate of ₹6,250 crore.

The India AI Mission has been allocated ₹2,000 crore, aimed at bolstering India's AI ecosystem and positioning the country as a leader in AI innovation.
