THE criminal syndicate led by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi is showing signs of collapse, with key aides breaking away and fresh gang wars erupting in India and abroad.
On September 12, gunmen opened fire outside Bollywood actress Disha Patani’s house in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. Criminals Rohit Godara and Goldy Brar said on social media later that the attack was in retaliation for alleged insulting remarks made by Patani’s sister against two spiritual leaders. It exposed widening cracks between the Bishnoi camp and the Godara-Brar faction.
