Labourer rapes, kills 6-year-old girl, thrashed

A SIX-year-old girl was raped and murdered by a 25-year-old construction worker in Ramamurthy Nagar police station limits on Monday night.
Local residents nabbed the accused who was fleeing after committing the act, and thrashed him.
Police also resorted to a mild lathicharge to disperse the crowd after they started demanding that the accused be handed over to them.
The accused, Abhishek Kumar, 25, from Bihar, has been booked under the POCSO Act and other sections of the BNS.
