Water scarcity in 218 villages, manage by using available resources, GPs told

As 161 villages in the Chikkodi division and 57 villages in the Belagavi division may face drinking water scarcity in the coming days, the Gram Panchayats concerned have been instructed to manage possible water requirements, said ZP CEO Rahul Shinde.

He was speaking at a media interaction organised by the Belagavi Print Journalists' Association at Vartha Bhavan on Tuesday.
