IN a significant recognition of grassroots women empowerment and rural economic progress, two Cluster-Level Federations (CLFs) from Vizianagaram district have been selected for the prestigious Atmanirbhar Sangathan Puraskar 2024, instituted by the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM).
Gantyada Mandal Mahila Federation secured first place, while Rajam Mandal Mahila Federation, from the erstwhile Srikakulam district (now merged with Vizianagaram), claimed the third spot for their outstanding contribution in transforming the lives of rural women through Self-Help Groups (SHGs).
