New bus service a boon to Nellore ruralites

Long-awaited RTC service connects Nellore's rural areas with city, reduces dependency on pvt buses and autos

AFTER years of neglect, the residents of Nellore rural areas are finally seeing their long-awaited demand of public transportation coming true as the State-owned Andhra Pradesh State Road Transportation Corporation (APSRTC) has introduced a new city bus service on trial basis.

For years, people from these areas have relied heavily on private city buses and autos, often facing high costs and irregular services. The new bus, which was launched on Thursday, service aims to address the challenges faced by rural residents in accessing affordable and reliable transportation.
