Humans have been fascinated by the human body since ancient times.

- HRITHIK KIRAN BAGADE

Ever since man evolved and settled, fell ill and began looking for cures, the understanding of the human body became one of the most important learnings, leading to the development of clinical antidotes.

The human body is a complex universe unto itself, and anatomical knowledge, which has advanced by leaps and bounds today, began through a mix of curiosity and risky experimentation.

In ancient and medieval times, anatomical knowledge was best left to conjecture. Classical texts, like those of Galen, were foundational but sometimes inaccurate due to reliance on animal models and limited human dissections. Animal dissections, particularly of pigs and apes, were common, but their applicability to humans was sometimes questionable.
