SBI MF's ₹250 SIP: Sebi chief says 'one of her fondest dreams'

The country's largest fund house SBI Mutual Fund has become the first asset manager to launch the sachetised SIPs or micro systematic investment plans (SIPs) starting at as low as ₹250 per unit investment.
Launching the product on Monday, flanked by SBI chairman SC Setty, Sebi chief Madhabi Puri Buch, whose brainchild was the idea, said it is "one of my fondest dreams", and the scheme will go a long way in providing affordable investment opportunities to a larger part of the society.
