IGA Swiatek of Poland stormed into the women's singles quarterfinals of the US Open with a comprehensive victory over Ekaterina Alexandrova of Russia on Monday.
The No 2 seed was simply unstoppable as she dispatched her opponent 6-3, 6-1 in 64 minutes. In the men's draw, Felix Auger-Aliassime defeated Andrey Rublev in straight sets to reach his first Grand Slam quarterfinal in three years.
