PDP offers support to NC in RS polls if Omar helps clear 2 bills in Assembly

PDP chief and former Jammu & Kashmir CM Mehbooba Mufti on Thursday said that her party will support the National Conference (NC) in the upcoming Rajya Sabha polls, provided the ruling party helps in the passage of at least two Private Members bills when the Assembly session begins on October 23.

Talking to reporters in Srinagar, Mehbooba said NC president Faroog Abdullah has sought her party’s support in the polls. Polling for four vacant RS seats in J&K would be held on October 24.
