Odisha to Come Up With New Agroforestry Policy

The state government will soon roll out a new Agro-forestry policy to move forward with its commitment to carbon emission reduction and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through sustainable practices.
Sources in Forest, Environment and Climate Change department said, the draft Agroforestry Policy-2025 has already been placed with the government for approval, while discussions are taking place with the Agriculture department for adaptation by farmers and communities residing in forest fringe areas.
