MSIL net up 48%; Chairman sees demand post elections

ON the back of robust sales volume and favourable commodity prices, the country's largest car maker - Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (MSIL) - on Friday reported a 48% increase in net profit for the March quarter of FY24 (Q4FY24) to ₹3,878 crore.
The auto major had reported a net profit of ₹2,624 crore in the year-ago period.
MSIL registered revenue of ₹38,235 crore in Q4FY24 as against 32,048 crore clocked in the same quarter last fiscal.
Additionally, MSIL declared the company's highest-ever dividend of $125 per share.
