Land-for-jobs: Lalu Urges HC to Quash FIR, Chargesheets

RASHTRIYA Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav has approached the Delhi High Court urging it to quash the FIR and three chargesheets filed against him by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the alleged 'land-for-jobs' scam.
Yadav is also challenging the trial court's orders that took cognisance of these chargesheets, calling them legally flawed. The petition was taken up on Thursday by Justice Ravinder Dudeja, who briefly heard submissions from senior advocate Kapil Sibal representing Yadav, and the counsel for the CBI.
