Inspections at 10 airports to assess ground situation

IN light of the massive disruptions in IndiGo’s flight operations, top officers in the Civil Aviation Ministry began inspections in 10 major airports across the country.
This follows an order to this effect issued by the Civil Aviation Secretary. Inspections were conducted at Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Guwahati, Goa, and Thiruvananthapuram airports on Tuesday and is likely to continue till Friday.
