EVEN as Punjab and Haryana continued to reel under “poor” to “very poor” air quality following the extended Diwali celebrations and crop residue burning, Delhi's air quality also remained in the “very poor” category for the fourth consecutive day on Thursday, despite a marginal improvement aided by stronger surface winds.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi’s 24-hour average Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 305 at 4 pm. Anand Vihar was the most polluted spot in the city with an AQI of 410, while 23 out of 38 monitoring statio
