Ex-principal used to take 'cut money' for tenders

THE CBI, in its ongoing investigations into the alleged financial irregularities at the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital involving Dr Sandip Ghosh, on Wednesday stated that the former principal had reportedly taken a cut of 20-30% for every illegal tender he awarded to vendors.
As Ghosh arrived at the Alipore court on Wednesday, he was greeted with a chorus of "Dhikdhik dhikkar (shame! shame!)" and "chor chor" from the demonstrators gathered there. The CBI strators gathered there. The CBI quickly escorted him and the others into the courtroom, shutting the main entrance to prevent protesters from storming
