IN continuing crackdown on terrorism days after the deadly Pahalgam attack that killed 26 people, security forces on Saturday blew up houses of four more terrorists while a massive operation has been launched across the Kashmir Valley and hundreds of suspects have been picked up for questioning.

Crackdown on houses of 4 more terrorists razed

The house of Lashkar terrorist Ahsan ul Haq Sheikh was blown up in Muran area of Pulwama district, of top TRF/LeT terrorist Shahid Ahmad Kuttay at Chotipora in Shopian, of Zakir Ahmad Ganie in Matalhama of Kulgam and of LeT terrorist Farooq Ahmed Tedwa, currently in Pakistan, in Kupwara. The houses of two Lashkar terrorists Aadil Hussain Thokar and Asif Sheikh, both linked to the Pahalgam attack, were blown up on Friday.

According to intelligence agencies, at least 14 local terrorists are active in the Valley. Of them, eight are associated with LeT and three each with Hizbul Mujahideen and Jaish-e-Mohammad. After the Pahalgam attack, security forces have launched a massive crackdown against terrorists and their sympathisers.
