THE political climate in Telangana is heating up amid strong speculation that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy may finally go ahead with the long-delayed Cabinet expansion, possibly as early as Sunday or within the coming week.
The arrival of Governor Jishnu Dev Varma in Hyderabad this weekend has further fueled the buzz, with Congress sources indicating that the party high command has given the green light to induct new ministers and fill up to six vacant berths in the state Cabinet.
