Chief secys of Punjab, Haryana summoned over stubble burning

EXPRESSING strong displeasure, the Supreme Court on Wednesday slammed the Punjab and Haryana governments for their alleged failure to take action against people found guilty of stubble-burning.
The SC summoned the chief secretaries of both states to appear before it on October 23.
