FOUR years after the controversial Citizenship (Amendment) Act got presidential assent but was put on ice following intense nationwide protests, the Centre on Monday walked the implementation talk by notifying its rules ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
This newspaper was the first to break the story on the government's decision to implement the CAA before the general elections in its January 3 edition.
