7 IPS officers deployed in Bastar for anti-Maoist ops

The Chhattisgarh government has deployed seven young IPS officers to the Bastar region to strengthen anti-Maoist operations after additional SP Akash Rao Girepunje was killed in an IED blast in Sukma on Monday.
These officers of the 2021 batch were earlier serving as city superintendents of police in various parts of the state. They have now been appointed as additional superintendents of police (anti-Maoist operations) in Sukma, Dantewada, Bijapur, Kanker, Narayanpur d
