2 govt docs held for tampering with blood samples in Pune Porsche crash

THE Pune crime branch arrested Dr. Ajay Taware and Dr. Shrihari Halnor from the state government-run Sassoon Hospital on Monday morning for tampering with the blood sample of the juvenile accused in Pune's Porsche car crash case.
Their actions were aimed at altering the course of the investigation and the case itself.
According to the Pune crime branch, following the incident where the Porsche car fatally struck two techie engineers, the accused minor underwent a medical examination at Sassoon Hospital. Blood samples were collected from the accused for forensic testing. It was alleged that the 17-year-old minor was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the mishap, with a viral video on social media purportedly showing him drinking in a pub.
